Superior Commercial Kitchens is a Pennsylvania-based company dedicated to providing quality new and used commercial kitchen equipment and services in the Greater Philadelphia region.
The company was founded in 1963 by Frank J. Livolsi, Sr. and his father, James A. Livolsi, under the name Superior Butcher Saw Service, Inc. At the time of its conception, SBSS focused primarily on the butcher and deli market segments. As those markets changed, the company began to broaden its focus to include restaurant and other food service equipment until 1999, when the Superior Commercial Kitchen division was started to handle this growing need for quality restaurant equipment.
In 1996, Marie, wife of Frank J. Livolsi, became president. Presently today the business is being managed by Frank A. Livolsi, son of Marie and Frank and is considered a 4th generation family owned business.
The company remains family owned and operated to this day, with its corporate headquarters and showroom located in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
